I was a little cuckoo during our last visit. But I have to say, the event I co-chaired with my dear friend, Candy, was a great success…
Thanks to Candy! She secured our venue, the suite box at War Memorial Stadium, where our beloved Hogs play 2 games a year in Little Rock! This was my first time to see the field from this vantage point as our season tickets are…
More like in the end zone and 15 rows below the scoreboard!
And here we are the night of the party! Candy also secured our lighting…
Check out the scoreboard with our elementary school’s logo! Pretty great!
We gathered around 60+ items for the silent auction. And we love these Fulbright tablecloths that Missy, another PTA board member, spearheaded!
Jana Hunter Interiors donated a 1 hour Decorating Consultation. Notice the silver tray housing my business cards? This tray is usually used for my Limoges! And another great friend, Libby, was the lucky recipient! I look forward to working with her!
Mother and Daddy also donated to the cause…one lucky person bought a Garden Luncheon for 4! They are in for a treat…and you are too once Spring arrives as I will be sharing their garden with you!
Daddy also donated a gift certificate from Arkansas Burger Company!
Jennifer Stephens, a friend and parent at our school, donated a portrait sketch…is she talented or what??? LOVE!
And I do believe all who chose the signature cocktail, the “Startini,” chose wisely! Delicious!
Our live auction consisted of artwork by each classroom thanks to Mrs. Short, our art teacher and PTA Teacher of the Year! This fabulous tree was created by the entire school!!!
Here is Elizabeth’s first grade class spelling out the alphabet with their bodies!
Examples of more artwork!
And we can’t forget our talented entertainment, Riverbilly! Candy secured the band as well…
since Brad, the drummer, is her hubby! Bright Night would not have been as successful if it weren’t for Candy’s energy and spirit!
Way to go Candy and thank you to all who helped make the night great!
Enjoy the day!
Jana
P.S. I may still be a little cuckoo…our home has been invaded by the stomach bug!
You are too kind, but as I’ve said before, WE are a great team, it was successful because of BOTH of our efforts!!
So kind… and it’s because you’re crafty like that!
Great job, ladies!!
Thank you…it was teamwork!
